Internet Withdrawals And Disappointment

Being completely without internet contact all day until 6pm is not a good experience. Our ancestors survived millions upon millions of years without it, and civilizations rose and fell, but I swear to god I can hardly function without it anymore. Showing classic withdrawal symptoms--blurred vision, shakiness, not knowing the time of day, inability to process external stimuli, biting people--it's not pretty.

And unfortunately all I have time for is the quickest of injections, straight to the vein, before I have to part ways again. Hopefully it will be enough to keep me alive.

And to finally regain access to the internet, only to find that the Democrats overwhelmingly voted to let that worm Lieberman retain his committee chairmanship which, incidentally, he was horrible at...that just ruins the internet high for me. I'm sure I'll write more about it later, but for right now I'll say that Democrats have a serious case of beaten spouse syndrome.

Urg...disgusted.
